Curtis Pickelle Forms Imaging Consulting Group
SANTA ANA, CA — Long time imaging industry veteran and founder of Decisions in Imaging Economics, Curtis Pickelle, today announced the formation of the Imaging Center Institute, a consulting organization focused on the development of business growth strategies for outpatient radiology practices. "Over the 20 plus years that I have been involved in the radiology industry I have accumulated quite a bit of knowledge about how to apply classic marketing principles and strategies to the emerging arena of outpatient imaging," Pickelle said. "Putting this knowledge together with a targeted approach to helping diagnostic imaging centers thrive in a highly competetitve marketplace is the perfect next step in my career as an imaging industry business executive." The institute will organize Pickelle's involvement in various industry events, symposia, information sources and resources nto a group dedicated to the business side of radiology practices and freestanding imaging centers around the country. According to Pickelle, as managing director of Practice Builders he has been consulting with nearly forty such practices and centers over the past several years and the combination of emerging needs of these and the new clients that he has added to his roster each month created the need for a more structured organization to handle the growth in demand for these services. "As someone who has owned his own business and been president of a large organization with several divisions I have had the experiences that today's center or practice executives have found very helpful as they look to grow their businesses. Typically, my role as an advisor to these executives and physicians running practices has run the gamut of consulting and business practices such that I am able to provide leadership for them framed within the comfort of two decades in the imaging marketplace," Pickelle said. "This provides my clients with the security of knowing that I understand their problems and opportunities." Part think tank, part business consultancy, part education and information organization, the institute combines into one place this weath of expertise, making it available to those seeking advice, services or direction that will help them grow their center through a combination of custom designed tactics.
